The Championship Course est. 1925 - Handicap certificates are required in order to play on the 18 hole course, The course was designed by Harry Colt and has four sets of tees.
Designed in two loops of 9 holes the first nine holes of this Links type course of 6415 yards, hug the sand dunes and coastline whilst the back nine form inland links, however the sea can be seen from every hole.

Wind plays a great part in the difficulty factor guaranteeing the golf course plays differently almost every day.

The greens are quick all year round and the fairways are tightly cut and the rough penal in places.
Bunkers are strategically placed.

Directions:
Make for Exeter by whichever motorway is convenient.

Take the M5 to Exeter. Take the A30 and head west on the dual carriageway. Continue on the A30 past Bodmin and then at Indian Queens take the slip road down to a roundabout, turn right signposted A39 for Wadebridge. At next roundabout turn right again signposted A39 Wadebridge. Straight across the next roundabout, heading for Wadebridge. At next roundabout turn left following the signs for Padstow (B3274). After three miles take a left turn to St Merryn. In village turn left at the crossroads and after approx 600 yards turn right signposted for Trevose Golf and Country Club.
